1976 Pontiac LeMans,┬áSat for 27 years inside a garage. Since removed it has had new tires, brakes, water pump, master cylinder, carburator, engine tune up and complete detail. Car looks and drives like new. Not a perfect car but 95% there. Right rear fender has hole plug where radio antenna was installed, slight rust (about 1″ x 1″) at lower left rear window, some blemishes in paint but nothing major, paint shined up like new, area where “door ding” stick on strips were installed (they have been removed) is noticable if you look for it. Drivers side carpet has small hole from drivers heal (not going to replace it, it is original) A/C needs to be charged and radio does not work. All glass is like new, no cracks or breaks. Vinyl dash like new, no corner, etc. cracks what so ever, very good condition. Interior, with the exception of the small hole in the drivers side carpet, is 99% perfect, not cracks, no seam splits, no discoloration anywhere. There was a small split in back of drivers seat that has been fixed and cannot be detected at a glance, found an excellent vinyl guy ! Back seat is like new, I don’t think anyone ever sat in it. Original compact spare tire still installed with the original bumper jack and air bottle to blow it up (no guarantee it works but it looks good). See pic of trunk, slight surface rust but nothing through anywhere on the car. Had it up on my rack and searched every inch, nothing, very solid. Does have a small oil leak but I’m not a super mechanic so it will go to the new Buyer as it is now. Motor starts easy and runs like a top, a little hesitation at acceleration, I think mixture is a little off, if you step on it too hard. Transmission shifts perfectly up or down. Exhaust system is perfect, no leaks. Power sterring is so good you only need one finger to turn it ! I do have a set of full wheel hub caps but I liked the baby moons better (yes they are Pontiac baby moons) both were used on the Le Mans 76′ & 77′ and Firebirds as I recall. Overall this is a very good car, not perfect but in excellent shape. Rust is not even a factor with this car, there is hardly any except the one small spot I show in the pic under the back window and the surface rust in the trunk. As far as I know this is a numbers matching car, nothing has been replaced that I know of.
