This service car was manufactured by Ford only in 1931. There were 550 service cars built, making it one of the rarest vehicles. At this time there are only 3 of these service cars still known to exist in restored condition. The truck has been awarded the mark of excellence twice by the Model A Ford Club of America.

This particular tow truck was manufactured in Seattle, Washington. The engine number matches the factory delivery papers which I have, I also have the original licence plate, registrations from all the owners, as well as a May 1931 newspaper photo of this same truck parked in front of the Renton, Washington Ford dealership, which was the original owner.
