VIN# 1592041713

1979 Super Beetle Convertible with 1.6 liter air-cooled engine and electronic fuel injection, all white exterior, white convertible top and white vinyl interior in excellent condition.  This beauty was among the last Superbeetle convertibles built in Germany.  Purchased new by its present owner on Mercer Island, WA for the wife of the family, accompanied one daughter to college in Pomona, CA, another to Reed College in Portland, OR, and the third to Chapel Hill, NC.

After returning home it was completely renovated including: (1) engine and transmission rebuild, new floor pan, starter, engine compartment air seal, and firewall insulation by Rose Hill Auto Service, (2) new vinyl interior, carpet, and sound deadening insulation underneath carpet.

1,600 miles on odometer since renovation.

Thank you for your interest.
