The car was confirmed to have been built:

MAY 18, 1960

SERIAL #695

FRAME #HK1 BQ1

It was SILVER in Color and came form the factory with an Automatic transmission and the usual 383 B which is confirmed the block casting # been 2468130. It was delivered to AUTO BECKER IN DUSSELDORF WEST GERMANY apparently the dealer for Facel Vega in that area of Germany. It was sold to a German Man that later moved to Sylvan Lake in Alberta and brought the car with him. Then eventually the car got old and sat outside in a back alley where some of the interior pieces where stolen and the windshield and rear side window where smashed. Eventually, MR Schmidt bought it and brought it to Calgary with the interior missing already and that is when he decided to try make it legal for Vintage Racing and use it for that purpose. The engine runs very well as I ran it a little bit over a year ago. The carburetor fires right up with a little gas.
