1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

This is a true gem… This 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 hardtop has undergone a  recent restoration, everything on this FJ40 is new or rebuilt.  It was California desert rust-free car to begin with, but the restoration has brought it up to the highest standards of originality and appearance.  It is a 4-wheel Drive vehicle with its original 2F 3.8-liter inline six cylinder engine, original three-speed manual transmission and transfer case.

Toyota launched their FJ40 series utility vehicle in 1960.  Official importation to the U.S. began in 1963, and within two years the FJ40 Land Cruiser was the best-selling Toyota in America.

The FJ40 was the first experience most westerners had with a Toyota vehicle and introduced the world to Japanese engineering at its best.  It captured the hearts of buyers with its world class toughness and off-road capability.

This FJ40 is a VERY high quality driver and it should win a best-in-class trophy at any car show its new owner enters
