For 1951 Packard debuted a new “modern” body more in vogue with the other manufacturers of the era.   Retained was the inline 8 cylinder engine now producing 135 horsepower, and this particular car is equipped with the ultramatic transmission.   Gone was the outdated rounded ‘bathtub’ shape of the prior 3 years. Kept in indoor storage for the past 30 years , this car is a great example waiting your restoration
