1989 Jaguar XJS convertible just in time for the summer. Perhaps one of the most iconic lines of any car, this car turns heads everywhere it goes. 82k original miles. Just had the oil changed and a full buyers inspection at jag johns. If you are familiar with these cars, they have “character.” The engine and transmission are very strong and the car drives beautifully. Tires have lots of life left and brakes are strong. The top is in excellent shape with a glass rear window. Leather is great on passenger side with typical wear on drivers side. No tears or holes. The car is completely stock with factory radio and trip computer both operable. Cruise control works which is common to go out on the xjs. Known things that need to be addressed for this to be a perfect car: ac needs recharge, front rotors need to be replaced as there is a wobble in the wheel under braking, hood struts are weak, antenna mast doesn’t retract all the way, and there is a small dent in the driver rear corner as seen in the pictures which is common in these as they are long and visibility can be tough. I see a lot of xjs with the same blemish. Paint is glossy and wood is very nice with no chipping or peeling. If you are familiar with these cars and have the know how, this will be a pristine example and highly collectible once everything is sorted out. I have purchased another convertible and this one has to go. Car comes with owners manual, service and parts guide, and convertible tonneau cover.
