This 1970 Buick Riviera was donated to raise money for Bernardo Barco who was in a tragic motorcycle accident December 21, 2018. Rod Gamper was the third owner of the car and had its engine rebuilt and interior completely redone. He estimates more than $40,000 worth of work was put into the car. An Eastern Washington vehicle originally sold from Becker Buick in Spokane, the vehicle has always been in Washington or Montana. Mr. Gamper was inspired to donate the vehicle when he heard Bernardo’s story because he too had been in a terrible motorcycle accident 9 years earlier. He too ended up on the 9th floor of Harborview Medical Center after being resuscitated twice while enroute from the scene. This restored Rivera has 82,000 original miles, less than 3,000 on the rebuilt 455 cid V-8 engine.

Rebuild included cam, headers, electric fuel pump, electric ignition, serpentine belt, transmission, front end, and carburator. Gas tank has been cleaned and resealed.
