1931 Auburn 898 Phaeton

Manufactured by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Company.

This automobile is a fantastic example of early American 1930’s deco styling. This is a local automobile that was purchased in the mid 1970’s.

He later had a full frame-off restoration that started about 15 yeas ago. Fully restored by the current owner and finished about 3 years ago. It has been fitted and finished with all new correct oak wood. It took about fives year to restore the wood alone. Resplendent in its deep Ebony Black with a Chambertin Burgundy beltline and crimson red pin stripe, it is accented by the sumptuous burgundy leather interior. It has the original Lycoming 8-cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission that has been rebuilt.

After the restoration the car was showcased at the Grand Classic in Washington. This is a beautiful well restored example of this iconic Auburn.

Located in Bremerton, WA.
