Mileage: Approx 1,000 on new engine
This 1970 Hemi Cuda 528ci, 610hp started as a 440 Grand Coupe. This car was first stripped and then we started the restoration process, which took two years. Everything was either rebuilt or replaced including the engine compartment to accommodate the factory crate engine. A heavy duty special torque converter, 727 torgue flite with manuel shift kit and 8 3/4 rear end with sure grip 3:23 gears and heavy duty bearings were installed. New US mags and Dunlop tires were also added. The interior was gutted including the gauges. Everything was rebuilt with new seats done in black with red velour inserts. Gauges were completely restored, and with this being a Grand Coupe, the car has an overhead console with gauges also. The trunk was restored with original jack and space saver spare tire. The outside was painted a beautiful Viper Red, using basecoat, clearcoat. The muffler shop installed sanderson headers, therefore we used a heavy duty starter. From there 3″ exhaust pipes with flowmaster mufflers were installed.
This beautiful modified Cuda is very streetable and an instant draw at car shows.
