This particular SIMCA was built during the time Chrysler owned the company. It’s Rootes/roots are clear in its overall design. It has a wonderful patina that just screams originality. Its well preserved dark maroon paint and unmodified engine compartment are true eye candy for us nutty car purists.
Being a two seat roadster it is sporty, but at the same time carries with it a great deal of French elegance. Seats which are finished in black leather are wider then most roadsters making them extremely comfortable and provide an excellent feel for the road. The four on the tree style gear shift comes naturally to the hand with the gear change, along with responsive steering. The car is a real joy to drive.
If you are in the area come in and see this French Jewel.
