Recently completed comprehensive build. High level craftsmanship employed in all phases of work and it shows. It’s in the details. The rear fender extensions and tail light bezels have been replaced and are fitted to the car for an o.e. look.
The body was in great shape and minor metal work on one small repair panel behind driver side front whell well and minimal filling was required. All new pumps, interior, vinyl roof, tires and paint. Interior pieces such as rear side panels and front door panels have all been selected as best available and the dash pad foam has been renewed. Interior window ‘fuzzies’ are in excellent condition, which a good thing because re-pops are not available. Exterior fuzzies are new. The carburetor is a Holley rebuild and the exhaust system is new old stock Walker with o.e. catalytic converter in place. The CV drive line is rebuilt as well as new brake calipers, cylinders, drums, shoes and pads. The radiator has been re-cored in copper and the antenna motor and the trunk lid motor have been reconditioned by old school craftsman, not replaced with import pieces. Twilight Sentinel works correctly as does the auto antenna when the AM/FM, 8 track radio is turned on. The electric clock has also been reconditioned. Electric windows are fast operating and Climate Control works as described in Factory Service Manual check list. The air conditioning remains R-12 for maximum performance and has new hoses, a rebuilt compressor, rebuilt V.I.R.assembly, a new condenser, no detected leaks, and it is cold.
Stainless trim inside and out has been hand polished to chrome finish level. Both bumpers and many pieces of the exterior trim have been re-chromed including rear tail light housings, door handles and opera window trim. Aluminum window trim on front and rear windows has been chromed for a sparkling look. Rust free, inland West Coast car.
