Transmission: C-4 Automatic
This 1967 Mustang had a great deal of mechanical and body work performed a few years ago. It was the owners High School project and he performed much of the work himself. Through the years, the car has been kept up mechanically but the body now has some rust issues.
The engine runs strong, the transmission shifts properly; the steering feels good and the brakes work properly. The engine appears to be is a 1968 block but not sure if it is a 289 or 302 ci.in. or if it has been bored or had other internal upgrades. It does have an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor and an MSD distributor.
On the inside, the driver seat needs to be recovered but other seats are in good condition. The carpet is a bit faded but in good condition and the dash pad has no cracks. The factory gauges and lights are in good condition and it has add-on gauges under the dash. It also has a working aftermarket radio.
As for the body, the floor pans have been replaced at some point and appear to be holding up well. Both quarter panels and both doors have significant rust in them. There is also a rust spot in the trunk lid.
Included with the car is a repair manual and two restoration books.
This car is a good driver as is and could be a good project car to fix the cosmetic issues.
