This delightful little car was purchased new by the owner’s grandmother. She christened it “Mitzie” and that is the name the family uses to this day. The current owner purchased it from his grandparents estate and so it has been in one family for all of its life. His grandfather was in charge of maintaining all of the machinery in a factory and was therefore knowledgeable and conscientious about maintaining the car. The owner has since maintained Mitzie in good repair. There was some rusting which was repaired at a shop that specializes in collector cars maintaining as much of the original paint as possible. Mitzie remains attractive dressed in her 55 year old patina. The interiors are also largely original although the front seat bottom has been reupholstered. Mechanically the car is sound and runs fine. Thus the car is a “survivor” in that it is good condition but has never been restored. The only known issues are that the fuel gauge does not function and the horn works intermittently. The engine does not smoke.
