In 1964, ultimately more significant is when Chris Craft introduced an all-fiberglass 38 foot Commander Cruiser, which had been developed at the Holland, Michigan plant.

The Cavalier line has served it’s purpose not only entry-level boats, but as a bridge from the old to the new while Chris-Craft underwent radical changes in ownership, corporate structure and technology, from the late 1950’s to the late 1960’s.
