Plymouth only made this body style Fury in 1960 and 1961, and 1961 was the only year for this design, as they did a mid-cycle refresh. Featuring Plymouth’s “Golden Commando 395” 361ci V8 engine, push button automatic transmission, and power convertible top, this Fury Convertible was the top-of-the-line for Plymouth in the early 60’s. A full restoration was completed between the late 80’s and early 90’s under the current owner’s ownership and was enjoyed until about 2010 when he could no longer safely drive the car due to age. It has been sitting un-used for roughly 10 years, and it will run and drive again once it is sorted out.
