Produced for the 1983 model year only, the Porsche 911SC Cabriolet became the very first 911 to feature a fully open-top convertible design. This example comes finished in Guards Red with polished Fuchs wheels, Carrera-style spoilers, a lowered suspension, and a black interior with Sport Seats. Recently treated to major service including a new alternator, distributor, seals, clutch, drivetrain mounts, oil tubes, and a new stainless-steel muffler. The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six engine produces up to 180 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. Upgraded Turbo valve covers and oil-fed Carrera chain tensioners have been installed, and recent service carried out by the owner includes installation of a new battery, alternator, starter, distributor, spark plugs, fuel filter, timing chain seals, a new ring gear, clutch, engine and gearbox mounts, and oil tubes. A new heat shield and stainless-steel muffler have also been installed, while the original muffler is included in the sale.
