1978 Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee 460 with 62k original miles.
This car is 100% original, excluding one high quality repaint and the replicated dual stripe tires. Surviving as one of the better-preserved cars I have encountered, this Diamond Jubilee Mark V boasts almost every option that was available. This car was clearly pampered and maintained as a collector car. The price tag on this car in 1978 was $21,791.00! Making it the most expensive American car produced in 1978! There were 5,159 Jubilee’s made, 2522 in Gold and only 1,511 with the optional moonroof like this one. This car features the front bucket seats in Champaign luxury cloth with the Champaign brocade inserts, and a padded leather console. The carpeting is 36oz Tiffany cut-pile which is also matching in the trunk. An option only on the Diamond Jubilee. Other fine touches consisted of beveled instrument panel lenses; beveled opera windows with Diamond Jubilee Edition in gold script, and a simulated Diamond used for the “I” in edition. Everything is power, everything works, and the car drives and shows like a dream.
