1972 Citroen DS 21 Semi automatic manual transmission, hydraulic suspension and hydraulic assisted brakes. US export model with very rare options that include the factory A/C and European turning head lights, these headlights were installed about 15 years ago when this car had a full mechanical disassemble restoration (could say frame off but this is a unibody so technically this wording doesn’t apply) in San Diego, CA by a local Citroen specialist.
This car spent most of its life in the southern state and has been well looked after. It has no trace of any rust anywhere even 15 years after been restored. Everything works to perfection and is a pleasant driver in mint condition. The paint still looks very good as a few little rock chips.
It spent the last 12 years in the dry climate of the prairie Canadian provinces and was driven very little on nice weather days to go to car shows were it always attracted a lot of interest. Was maintained locally by a retired Citroen agent.
