Lot 195- 1949 Packard Eight NO RESERVE

From the LeMay Family Collection. To be auctioned off at No Reserve. We do not have the specifics of these vehicles. They may or may not run and/or need parts.

Following WWII, Packard resumed the production of automobiles using mostly prewar bodies, until 1948, when it introduced the rounded body used from 1948 through 1950.     Offered is a 1949 Packard 4 door sedan, named the ‘Delux 8’, with a higher level of trim in chrome, and the 288 cubic inch flathead inline 8 cylinder engine, and the ultramatic ( automatic) transmission, which was just beginning to gain acceptance in the market.   Kept away from the elements in inside storage for 30 years.
