In the mid 80”s this Jaguar was purchased by legendary Jerry Ruth. A quarter-mile racer from the Pacific Northwest. Bored and stroked to 6.2 L. Six downdraft Weber’s 40’s. Ported and polished heads.
10.5 to 1 compression with Venolia pistons. Isky XM-3s cams. Billet Chevy rods. Polished bell housing and oil pan with new leather upholstery. After a complete frame off restoration the car was parked in Jerry‘s garage hidden away from view till the owner purchased it and did a refresh on the original restoration.
The motor features a signature from Jerry Ruth engraved in one of the heads. This is a piece of Pacific Northwest history. It puts out about 512 hp and has a four-speed transmission with a Dana Posi rear end. A thrilled to drive!
