1990 Toyota Sera, one of 14,000 or so cars built by Toyota, only for their Japanese home market. The car was very close to the concept car that Toyota built a couple of years earlier. In order to purchase one of these little cars in Japan you had to register and have a winning lottery number. Never intended to be a high volume production car. The ratio of automatic cars to manual gearbox cars was 4 automatics for every manual transmission car made. As of 1992 the Sera Chassis with the 5EFE engine would make its way to the USA as the Toyota Paseo. The good news is many of the Paseo mechanical parts are interchangeable with the Sera. Registered in WA state this car is road legal. and has a WA state title.
