Super rare and unrestored. Original factory ordered 1959 Ford Courier Fire Department Ambulance, for the last several years it’s been used for car shows and just plain old fun cruising. The car is a factory-built and ordered new by the City of Lefors Fire Department in Lefors, TX. Delivered to them on July 1, 1959 and was ordered and delivered through Kissee Ford Company 701 W. Brown Pampa, Texas. Original paperwork to prove that the car came with a heater ,windshield wiper, window washer and a V8 engine. This ambulance is a hit anywhere you take it. Interior is all original with the two factory bucket seats and a jump seat only in the back for the nurse or EMT to ride in and take care of the patient, everything on the car works and is ready to enjoy, including the lights and siren! 292ci V8 that runs good with no smoke or noise with a 3-speed manual transmission. New fuel pump, new carburetor, brakes all within the last 3 months, even the little fan in the rear window works to keep the patient cool.
