1949 Buick Special – Model  41

A very rare all original (barn find)

There were only 5,777 Model 41’s made. In comparison – there were over 72,000 Buick Supers and Convertibles made in 1949.

The seller purchased this car in 1970 from the original owner in central South Dakota where is stayed till 2015. The seller then brought it to WA and rebuilt the original 248 ci straight eight engine.

Original crankshaft trued and balanced, new piston, rings, rod and main bearings, soft plugs, connecting rods trued and balanced, new clutch, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing.

Rebuilt original water pump, starter, generator, distributor, carburetor, fuel pump, brake master cylinder, and rear wheel brake cylinders.

New spark plugs, points, condenser, distributor cap, coil, cloth plug wires, radiator core, gas tank, and weather stripping on doors and trunk.
