1939 American Bantam pickup
Known as American Austin from 1930-1934 and American Bantam from 1938-1941. These vehicles were produced in Butler, Pennsylvania. American Bantom designed and built the first successful jeep for the U.S. Army.This example features a 49 cubic inch, 20 horse power, inline 4-cylinder engine. Over all condition is rough.From 1935-1941 approx. 6,700 American Bantam’s were produced (all body styles).
