This is a rare find... An unadulterated, very original, 1959 Austin Healey 100-6 BN6. This vehicle still has the original carpeting and interior. Although the certified factory record states black for the exterior colour, the green paint appears original as well and was a very quality job when applied. The only obvious modification is the addition of a new stainless steel exhaust system that is visible below the driver's side door.
This is a fun car! Turn the key, push the start button and the engine fires up and runs smooth. The gearbox is smooth and shifts well through all the gears. The brakes are strong and have been recently serviced.
Overall, this 1959 Austin Healey 100/6 is a great road vehicle. While it has not been licensed since 1978, it is obvious the previous owner took care of the car and exercised it with some regularity.
