Lot #531 - 1963 Studebaker Lark Wagonaire

$0.00

1963 Studebaker Lark Wagonaire
Engine: 289ci V8
Trans.: 3-spd Manual (column)

Claimed by many to be the first "Cross-over" vehicle, the Studebaker Wagonaire certainly crossed some design boundaries with the unique retractable roof.  That feature was advertised as being able to carry a full-size refrigerator in an upright position... Picture that, if you will.

This 1963 model is a nice example of the first year release.  It shows a few signs of being 61 years old, but still runs and drives very well.  The V8 starts right up and the transmission gladly delivers power to the drive-train. These one-of-a-kind Studebaker Wagonaires get attention wherever they go and are sure to start a conversation.
