1949 Studebaker Commander Convertible
Studebaker built just 172 Commander Regal Deluxe Convertibles for the 1949 model year. Due to their extreme rarity, only an estimated handful (fewer than a dozen) of these specific 1949 convertible models are believed to be in road-worthy or restorable condition today. Because these post-war drop-tops are prized by collectors, they rarely come onto the open market and command strong prices.
This car comes from a long-term collector who displayed it in a museum. It was recently brought up for daily use when he retired from his career as a military/commercial pilot. He absolutely loved driving it but recently moved to Italy. It runs and drives beautifully and is a pleasure to enjoy.
