1951 Willys Overland has been fully restored and heavily modified to modern standards of performance and comfort. It has an updated and more modern interior, four-wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, new stereo, speakers custom center locking console, digital and analog gauges. The famous "Willys" is a vibrant red, with ghost flames and the original painted wood sides have been beautifully recreated and carefully brought back to life. The iconic flat-fender truck helped define the postwar utility vehicle in America. Under the hood is a DeSoto legendary "hemi" V-8 engine. The 1955 DeSoto 330 cid powerplant has new mains, and has been completely gone through and is a strong reliable runner. Factory rated at 225 bhp, and featuring a 3.72" bore and a 3.80" stroke with a 8.5:1 compression ratio. Runs on unleaded pump gas. The DeSoto Power-Flite 2-speed fully automatic transmission provides smooth acceleration. Exhaust is through headers, a brand new exhaust system and Flowmaster 40-Series mufflers. Tapered chrome exhaust tips finish the exhaust where there is a deep low rumble. She is a head turner and one-of-a-kind.
