1974 Cadillac Coupe Deville -The “Cowdillac”:
Approximately 58,000 miles, believed to be original.
Genuine cowhide leather top.
Steer horns mounted on front are easily removed with two nuts and replaced by original hood ornament.
Excellent red leather interior.
Genuine wire wheels.
Runs and drives great.

New power steering unit

Brakes recently inspected by professional shop and are “like new”

Quirks of 1974 Cadillac:
Starting: After sitting for several days, it is sometimes a little slow to start. Otherwise, it starts right up.
Fuel Gauge: Works, but I don’t trust it. I go by the odometer which works fine.
Passenger Door Lock: When the car was locked for a couple of weeks, the passenger lock would not release. I had to pull it up with pliers. I have not tried it since.
8-Track: Does not work. Looks like it swallowed a tape.
Heater: Does not work well. Fart comes on and blows, but very little heat. Defroster and AC work.
Windshield wipers: They work well, but I installed new blades that have a thick connecting mechanism that sometimes gets caught in the cowl.
Windshield washer: Does not work. Makes noise, but no juice comes out.
