Traded back into Melton Motor Company and sold to the second owner (who lived 30 minutes away in Superior, NE) on 08/15/1995. In 2000, the second owner passed away and the truck was inherited by his son, who drove the truck out to San Diego, CA, and subsequently parked it with the rest of his small collection of classic cars, where it was sparingly driven (only when they needed to carry light duty items in the pickup bed). In June of 2021, the second owner's son passed away and the truck was inherited by the second owner's grandson, who also inherited the entirety of his father's car collection. In February of 2010, Carfax shows mileage inconsistency, when the 5-digit odometer began being reported as 17,863 instead of (1)17,863. The mileage on the truck is 100% original and accurate at it's current reading of 139,890 miles). Thousands were spent in the last five years on this truck including full repaint in it's factory Bright Red color, refreshed engine bay, custom dual exhaust, spray in bed liner, refreshed interior with new bench seat cover, door panels, and RetroSound AM/FM stereo with aux input, 18" American Racing style 5-spoke chrome wheels with Cooper tires in excellent condition, billet grille, new lenses and trim, and more.
