#243 1939 Cadillac Coupe

$0.00

VIN: 8292800
Odometer: ~68500
Engine: 346cid V8
Trans.: 3-spd Manual

This is a first year version of the Cadillac Series 61. These cars adopted the Torpedo appearance with an aerodynamic flare. This streamlined design was a huge attraction when it appeared at the Futurama exhibit of the 1939 New York World's Fair.

This 1939 Cadillac Series 61 retains that beautiful styling, and brings a modern touch into today's world. The two-tone exterior with black body and grey fenders enhances the curves and lines of the original design. The beautiful tan leather interior is highlighted with chocolate insets and has been updated with more current seating arrangements and features. The bucket seats and center console are a very nice touch on the early arrangement. That tan/chocolate combination is carried over into the stowage area as well.

While the interior has been seriously revamped, the engine bay harkens back to the authentic roots of this Cadillac. The L-Head V8 remains a good runner and powers the vehicle down the road in old-school fashion.

Overall, this 1939 Cadillac Series 61 Coupe is a wonderful example of blending old with new. It will make a wonderful addition to a new owner's collection.
